How You Can Help
Keep a track of where you've been
You can keep a track of where you have been by using the NZ COVID Tracer App or by writing down where you have been.
Wash your Hands
Washing your hands is one of the easiest ways to keep yourself and other safe. Wash often. Use soap and wash for at least 20 seconds and make sure to dry them.
Stay home if you're sick
If you are feeling unwell, stay at home and call Healthline to get advice and arrange a free COVID-19 test.
At this stage, we are waiting to see if the recent alert level changes will necessitate a change to our service times this Sunday.
Should we still be at level 2 on Sunday 21st February, we will be holding two morning services at 9am and 11am, our plan is to have Kids' Church at both of these times. At this stage, we do not foresee any impact to Night Church.
Unfortunately, we have had to cancel the Ash Wednesday combined service. Currently, no other events have been impacted by the change in alert levels.
At this stage, our Home Groups and Join Me Groups are not affected by the current alert level. We encourage all of our Home Groups and Join Me Groups to stay physically distanced if possible.
Home Group Leaders do not have to run their group if they do not feel comfortable doing go, if you choose to do this, please get in contact with all of the members of your home group and let them know.
Resources & Support
We want to help support you in this difficult time, to do this we have a variety of resources we can give you to help as well as ways you can get support.
We have COVID-19 Tracer Booklets that we can give you, these are to help those who either can't use the NZ COVID Tracer App, or who do not want to use it. We have these in English, Te Reo Māori, Simplified Chinese and Korean. You can pick them up in the foyer of the church or ring the church office and we can drop these to your house. Please feel free to take multiple booklets, each one should last around 1 month.
If the current situation is making you feel anxious or concerned, please feel free to contact the church office so we can organize someone to pray with you.
ABC have partnered with two other local churches, St Christopher's Anglican and St Mark's Presbyterian, to start a community food bank to help those who have been significantly affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic. If you have been affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic and would like some financial assistance, please get in contact with the church office.
